Today, internships are an integral part of many educational programmes. This professional experience is often appreciated by both students and companies. Doing an internship during your studies opens up the field of possibilities, and even becomes a differentiating factor in the job search.
So Lucia and Julie seized the opportunity and allowed a happy International Trade student to join our Export department for 2 months.
The proposed missions are very attractive:
- managing commercial flows (website, email, WhatsApp, calls),
- management of logistic operations
- commercial management and customs documentation
All this in a very design environment, in our new premises in Fréjus, where we also have a games room 😉
If our Power Girls had a very clear idea of the candidate’s profile :
- good command of English or German
- good interpersonal skills,
- knowledge of the rules of international trade
and the main activities to be managed by the candidate :
- preparation of export documents in compliance with regulatory and customs requirements, Proformas, orders
- communication with all our departments
- updating of our operator modes
they had to select him from around twenty candidates and as usual, their choice was good. Quentin, a student in a 3 years degree in Business joined us in April.
And what are his feelings?
” As soon as I arrived, the company knew how to integrate me very quickly. Indeed, as soon as my installation was finished, they directly entrusted me with important tasks directly related to my studies. In addition to that, they were present for all my questions and were able to answer them in a simple and clear way. My integration was really natural and very quick, which for the moment has allowed me to have a very good internship.”
